Our website's two-month anniversary is on Tuesday, May 17th. To celebrate, we're pleased to announce a contest in which one of the lucky participants will be awarded $25 to his/her PayPal account.

All you need to do is: (1) tweet the message below (or one very similar) to your Twitter account … (2) then, copy that tweet URL … (3) and post it in the comment box at the bottom of this page. The winner will be randomly selected from the participants.

If our tips, tweaks, shortcodes, and plug-ins have been useful in your blogging and development endeavors, help us spread the word … and enter your chance to win this contest. Plus, you may want to follow us on twitter at our new @wpCodeSnippets account … for inspirational blogging quotes, WordPress related news links, and more.

  1. Tweet the message above (or one very similar) to your Twitter account.
  2. Then, copy the resulting tweet URL.
  3. Complete your entry by pasting the Status URL in the comment box below.
  4. Finally, press “Submit Your Comment”.
Tip: Here's how to copy your Tweet Status URL. After the tweet, click the timestamp … for example '1 minute ago' or 'May 24'. This will open the Tweet in a window as the only message. Then, copy the URL from the browser's address bar (it will have 'status' in the link. Finally, paste that status link as a new comment below.

Qualifications:

  1. You must have a PayPal account in which to receive the awarded $25 prize.
  2. You can tweet the message and post it here no more than two times before the contest deadline. Yes, you can enter twice to increase your odds of winning.

  1. Start date: Saturday, May 14, 2011
  2. End date: Friday, June 17, 2011 (our 90th day online)

The winner will be notified on June 18.
